That’s the story behind NEVR, and we’re honoured that it was recently featured in the July 2026 edition of Canada Tabloid.
The article, Building Safer Communities – One Conversation at a Time, highlights how a small community forum founded in 2011 has grown into a province-wide network bringing together professionals, researchers, educators, and community leaders committed to preventing relationship violence.
Today, that work includes conferences, practical resources, community workshops, and our growing focus on elder abuse prevention, helping seniors, caregivers, and families recognize abuse, prevent scams, and know where to find support.
